Entry-Level Police Test (ELP)
To identify those individuals who possess the abilities needed to be successful as a police officer. The abilities measured are spatial orientation, problem sensitivity, semantic ordering, flexibility of closure, verbal comprehension, visualization, memorization, and inductive reasoning.
Entry-Level Fire Test (ELF)
The entry-level test, on the other hand, is meant to assess a candidate’s particular set of skills and whether they align well with the firefighter occupation. Some tested abilities include verbal comprehension, visualization, memory, and problem sensitivity. Passing this panel ensures a recruit is ready for the next stage of training.
Police Sergeant Test
No matter the size of your law enforcement jurisdiction, it is crucial that the organization has an effective, highly skilled, and diverse leadership team at all supervisory ranks. This valid, defensible promotional process is designed to identify those individuals within the organization best suited to serve as leaders in the position of sergeant.
Mechanical Aptitude Test
The MAT assess a candidate’s ability to understand basic mechanical principles. The test contains forty (40) test questions which will require applicant’s to demonstrate skills and/or abilities in basic mechanical contexts. You will have thirty (30) minutes to complete the test. The MAT is available in several versions, including paper-pencil, computer-based, and on-line.
