Dr. Morris presenting

Morris & McDaniel, a veteran-owned small business, was founded in 1976 by Dr. David Morris, who continues today as President and Chief Executive Officer overseeing the daily operations of the company. Dr. Morris is uniquely positioned in the human resource management field by virtue of having a Doctorate of Philosophy degree in Psychology, with emphasis on Industrial/Organizational Psychology, and a Juris Doctorate degree. This advanced training in dual fields gives Dr. Morris unique insight into personnel issues related to Title VII. Under his direction, Morris & McDaniel designs personnel systems that are both legally defensible and effective in assisting management in making the best possible personnel decisions.

The company has recently moved aggressively into the international human resource management arena. The effort led directly to an important three-year program under contract with the U.S. Department of Defense to assist in screening candidates for the Iraqi Police Service. Morris & McDaniel also ran a pilot program to develop a selection test for recruits into the Iraqi Armed Forces. The company has developed a number of working partnerships with educational and training organizations in other countries in the Middle East region.

For over 45+ years, Morris & McDaniel has been a national leader in the United States in assisting public sector law enforcement organizations in designing and implementing screening instruments as well as more sophisticated in-depth evaluation programs (assessment centers) for promotional exercises. Morris & McDaniel has a long history of service to a number of the larger police jurisdictions in the country.

Building on that experience in law enforcement, Morris & McDaniel has expanded to other employment fields where effective measurement of necessary skills and behavioral characteristics is critical to organizational success. These areas include transportation, manufacturing, retail, and health care.

No matter the size of your organization or the nature of your mission, Morris & McDaniel can be a powerful ally to help you assemble a capable, motivated team to achieve your objectives.
