This is a Live Assessment Center being administered and scored for the Boston Police Department to assess the rank of Sergeant. Assessors will be assessing candidates in-person. Assessors will be housed at the Lenox Hotel in Boston.
Requirements:
- Shall not reside in the Boston Metropolitan Statistical Area;
- Shall not be a current or former employee of the City of Boston
- Shall not be related by blood or marriage, within the second degree of consanguinity or affinity, to any candidate for promotion.
- Must be rank of Sergeant (or equivalent) or higher
- Shall have at least 2 years’ experience in the rank being assessor or equivalent rank
- Shall serve in a municipal police department in the United States with a minimum population of 200,000
