Assessor Qualifications:
Assessors must be current, or retired, firefighters of the rank of Deputy Chief or higher (or equivalent) AND must have been in that rank for at least two (2) years. Additionally, assessors must be tenured with Morris & McDaniel, having previously served in five (5) or more processes.
We are seeking six (6) assessors for two (2) diverse panels, by both gender and race, by firefighters who fit the above criteria and are available to attend and serve as an assessor.
Logistical Specifics:
The Assessment Center activities will be held virtually. Each assessor will need high speed internet on a laptop or tablet to download candidate videos and Microsoft Teams to work together to score the candidates.
Bristol Fire will have five (5) Deputy Chief candidates and two (2) exercises to be scored. Assessors will be compensated for their time in the amount of $25 per candidate, per exercise scored.
