Assessor Qualifications:

Ideally, we will need a process that mimics the original process, that occurred in April 2024, as closely as possible. As such, we need six (6) original assessors from the process to create the two (2) original panels to score the Make-Up candidate(s) in a virtual process.

The original qualifying criteria included, and still includes:

Assessors for the Communications ranks of Senior Fire Alarm Operator and Watch Commander must have current or previous experience in communications and be of the rank of Watch Commander or higher (or equivalent).

Logistical Specifics:

The Assessment Center activities will be held virtually. Each assessor will need high speed internet on a laptop or tablet to download candidate videos and Microsoft Teams to work together to score the candidates. Memphis Fire will have one (1) Senior Fire Alarm Operator candidates testing, and two exercises to be scored. Assessors will be compensated for their time in the amount of $25 per candidate, per exercise scored.
