Assessor Qualifications:
Assessors must be tenured with Morris & McDaniel, having completed five (5) or more prior processes. Assessors must be current, or retired, law enforcement officers of the rank of the rank of Lieutenant or higher (or equivalent) for two (2) diverse panels that will score Sergeant and Lieutenant candidates. We also need tenured assessors of the rank of Captain or higher (or equivalent) for two (2) diverse panels that will score Corporal and Captain candidates. We are seeking diverse panels, by both gender and race, by officers who fit the above criteria and are available to attend and serve as an assessor.
Logistical Specifics:
The Assessment Center activities will be held virtually. Each assessor will need high speed internet on a laptop or tablet to download candidate videos and Microsoft Teams to work together to score the candidates. Hampton will have approximately thirty (30) Corporal, twenty (20) Sergeant, ten (10) Lieutenant and seven (7) Captain candidates testing, and two exercises, per rank to be scored. Assessors will be compensated for their time in the amount of $25 per candidate, per exercise scored
