Assessor Qualifications:
Assessors must be current or retired law enforcement officers of the rank of Deputy Chief or higher (or equivalent) and must have been in that rank for at least two (2) years. We are seeking three (3) assessors to fill one (1) diverse panel, by both gender and race. We are seeking diverse panels, by both gender and race, by officers who fit the above criteria and are available to attend and serve as an assessor.

Logistical Specifics:
The Assessment Center activities will be held virtually. Each assessor will need high-speed internet on a laptop or tablet to download candidate videos and Microsoft Teams to work together to score the candidates. Laurel, MS will have approximately four (4) Captain candidates and one (1) Deputy Chief candidates testing, and two exercises, per rank, to be scored. Assessors will be compensated for their time in the amount of $25 per candidate, per exercise scored.
