Assessor Qualifications:

Assessors must be of the rank of, or equivalent to, Communications Supervisor or Manager, or higher AND must have been in that rank for at least two (2) years. If possible, we are seeking three (3) assessors to fill one (1) diverse panel, by both gender and race, of communications personnel who fit the above criteria and are available to attend and serve as an assessor.

Logistical Specifics:

The Assessment Center activities will be held virtually. Each assessor will need high speed internet on a laptop or tablet to download candidate videos and Microsoft Teams to work together to score the candidates. Orange County will have five (5) Dispatch Supervisor candidates testing, and two (2) exercises to be scored. Assessors will be compensated for their time in the amount of $150 for training and $25 per candidate, per exercise scored.
