Ideally, we will need a process that mimics the original process, that occurred in August/September 2023, as closely as possible. As such, we need six (6) original assessors from the process to create the two (2) original panels to score the Make-Up candidate(s) in a virtual process.

The original qualifying criteria included, and still includes:

Assessors must have current or previous experience in EMS and be of the rank Lieutenant, or higher, (or equivalent) for at least two (2) years. We are seeking diverse panels, by both gender and race, by Fire Officers who fit the above criteria and are available to attend and serve as an assessor.

Logistical Specifics:

The Assessment Center activities will be held virtually. Each assessor will need high speed internet on a laptop or tablet to download candidate videos and Microsoft Teams to work together to score the candidates. Memphis Fire will have one (1) EMS Lieutenant candidate testing, and two (2) exercises to be scored. Assessors will be compensated for their time in the amount of $25 per candidate, per exercise scored.
